Michael Phillips, the man who says he has the world's smallest penis, has been very candid about his challenges with the medical condition, including how it takes a toll on his love life.

"I was probably in high school, and dealing with girlfriends and stuff like that, I thought I was a late bloomer, maybe one day it would be normal size," Michael told IGV. "But it never happened." The 38-year-old North Carolina man has often claimed that his .38-inch member might be the smallest in the world. He hasn't shied away from talking about his dating life either.

In an interview with TMZ in February this year, he revealed that he had just gotten out of an eight-month relationship. "We've met twice, but the whole thing lasted about 8 months," he shared candidly. "We did a lot of other things besides have sex." In the same interview, Michael also revealed that he is happy to give away the World's Smallest Penis title to anyone up for the challenge.

When the interviewer asked him how he broached the subject with his ex-girlfriend, he said, "I told her via a text message. She was pretty much okay with it."

Though the relationship ended and Michael is now single, he says he's not "actively out there" searching for love.

"Like my last relationship would have never happened if I didn't get a random message in my inbox," he added.

He also described his dating life as "challenging" because "I don't really go out and try to meet new people."

When questioned about how he chooses to reveal the medical condition to his dates, he said, "You really don't know when to approach it. I've tried multiple different ways when talking to people. it. A lot of it depends on the person and feeling out what their vibe is and knowing what their personality is."

He added that "you can kind of make a judgment on how you think they'll react or if they'll be okay with it."

While discussing why his last relationship ended, he explained that "it was more or less because we were long distance" and not because of his condition.

Overall, Michael stated that the response to him sharing his condition and journey has been "majorly positive especially from females."

Though it has been a long, arduous journey, it seems like there's some light at the end of the tunnel for Michael.

The 38-year-old also recently confirmed that he will undergo a penis-enhancing procedure in just a matter of days after raising money for the life-changing procedure via a GoFundMe page.

He told his supporters, "Update: Because my story was recently shared in the media, this fundraiser has exceeded its original goal. Thank you to everyone who has donated!"
