Travis Kelce pulled off a hilarious impression of Patrick Mahomes.
While the Chiefs tight end, 36, was speaking to reporters at training camp on Wednesday, Aug. 12, Kelce broke out into an amazing impression of the quarterback, whose voice has been compared to Kermit the Frog.
“One of the most surprising things you’ll ever find out about playing with Pat Mahomes is that the guy’s got a good cadence,” Kelce began when speaking about his teammate, close friend and business partner. “There’s something with the —” Kelce said before changing his voice to sound like Mahomes, “frequency of his voice, and when he says, ‘hut hut hut,’ it really gets you to [go].”
“Mentally, when you’re tired, you’ve really gotta lock in because that frequency gets you to jump no matter what,” Kelce continued, reiterating Mahomes’ “good cadence.”
The Chiefs star went on to speak highly of Mahomes, who is back to training after tearing his ACL in one of the last games of the 2025 season, during his presser on Wednesday. “Everybody knows I love that guy, that’s a brother to me, you know,” Kelce said, adding that he’s “so proud of the way [Mahomes] handled adversity from last year to right now.”

“Obviously, we’ve still got less than a month until the first game, but you see him out here, enjoying the game, competing at a high level and not thinking about the knee,” Kelce said of the quarterback.
Kelce continued, “And he’s playing his tail off right now and leading us.”
The tight end said Mahomes’ leadership “is the biggest thing” for the team. “They’re setting the tone, setting the standard of the team. As long as 15 is out there doing that, we’re gonna be a good football team.”
