It's Wednesday, which means a new 90-minute 'Big Brother' Season 28 episode featuring the Power of Veto competition will air tonight, Aug. 12.
Week 5 started with a bang as LaTrice Verrett, also known as Lala, won the extremely challenging, yet iconic wall competition and became this week's HOH. On Sunday's episode, we saw that Lala nominated Haley Thogmartin(last week's HOH), Barrett Pfeiffer and Chuk Anyanwu for a possible eviction.
Tonight's Power of Veto competition will be the first chance the three get to take themselves off the block and secure safety for the week. While the Power of Veto competition was pre-filmed, those who aren't tuned into the live feeds will get to watch it all play out tonight.
Will the winner of tonight's veto keep the nominations the same, or use their power to save one of the nominees- and if one is saved, who will become Lala's replacement nominee?

The three houseguests will get their first shot at taking themselves off the block during the next Power of Veto competition, which will air tonight, Wednesday, Aug. 12.

The three nominees, the HOH and a few other houseguests will get the chance to compete to win the Power of Veto.

If one of the nominees wins the Power of Veto, they can remove themself from the block, and then Lala, the current HOH, will have to put up a replacement nominee. If Lala or another houseguest that's not on the block wins the veto, they could decide to keep the current nominations as they are.
