Donald Trump Jr. and his new wife, Bettina Trump, shared a peek into their private Bahamas wedding, releasing behind-the-scenes footage days after a ceremony the president of the United States was unable to attend.
The couple wed on Little Pipe Cay, a secluded island in the Bahamas, in a ceremony with fewer than 50 guests present. Trump Jr., 48, commemorated the moment with a heartfelt post on Instagram, accompanied by the video.
"The night I married my best friend, my love, and my forever," he wrote. "Bettina, you have brought so much peace, joy, and light into my life." Don Jr.'s post comes after reports that his new wife has one 'life goal' that will terrify millions of Americans.

President Donald Trump, who attributed his absence to escalating tensions with Iran, provided his reasoning days prior to the ceremony.
"While I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump Family, his soon to be wife, Bettina, circumstances pertaining to Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so," the president wrote on Truth Social, reports the Irish Star.

"I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, D.C., at the White House during this important period of time. Congratulations to Don and Bettina!" The president later explained his decision in his typically direct manner. "He'd like me to go," Trump said of his son. "I said, 'You know, this is not good timing for me. I have a thing called Iran and other things.'"
Sources previously told CNN that maintaining the wedding's privacy was also a factor in the president's decision not to attend. Security measures were enhanced after the venue was disclosed.
The video depicted Trump Jr. wearing a tan suit and arriving at the chapel by golf cart. His sister, Ivanka Trump, and sister-in-law, Lara Trump, were observed accompanying the bride to the ceremony. Three of Trump Jr.'s children from his first marriage, Kai, Tristan, and Spencer, positioned themselves near the altar, while Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, sat behind them.
Ornamental candles displaying the phrase "Love Trumps all" appeared in close-up footage. The video ended with the newly married couple walking along the beach as guests held sparklers above.
Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna responded to the post, describing it as "So beautiful." Katie Miller, wife of deputy White House chief of staff Stephen Miller, also extended her congratulations, writing simply, "Beautiful."
The wedding marks Trump Jr.'s second marriage. He was formerly married to Vanessa Trump, with whom he shares five children.
He was also formerly engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle, who currently serves as U.S. Ambassador to Greece. Trump Jr. started dating Bettina Anderson in 2024, and the pair became engaged in December 2025, with the president breaking the news at a White House holiday party.
