The New York Jets got some positive injury new relating to their top rookie draft pick in edge rush David Bailey.

Bailey, who was selected No. 2 overall at the 2026 NFL Draft by the team, was spotted taking part in practice on Tuesday. The session is a joint workout with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ahead of their preseason opening matchup against each other.

On Saturday, Bailey pulled up during a drills and was approached by the team's medical staff. Bailey was eventually spotted walking around the sideline of Saturday's workout, which was a good sign, but he did not return to the practice.

Now he's back.

The Jets and Buccaneers are slated to do battle in their exhibition contest on Friday at 7 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
